12-Country Calendar Project
This project is an international
collaboration effort between
twelve countries. The goal was
to complete a twelve-month
calendar by having each country
submit one drawing, which
depicted their country’s
culture, spirit, or national
monument. The Rotaract Club of
Philadelphia recently completed
this project.

Peace Magazine
In June 2008,
The Rotaraqct Club of Alexandria
Rakouda (Egypt District 2450)

peace-promoting magazine they
were creating. Contained in the
magazine are articles, pictures,
quotes, songs, news and
multimedia that can help promote
peace. The magazine was
contributed to and edited by
Rotaractors worldwide. Below is
a link to the most recent copy
of this magazine!

Rotaract Donates Books to Local
School
Rotaract Club of Philadelphia
will donate Webster’s
Dictionaries and World Atlases
to two classrooms at the
Morrison Andrew J School on
November 18, 2008. Through the
support of a fellow Rotaractor,
Trey Smith, we chose a third
grade class and a seventh grade
that will receive books from
Rotaract.
The funds for this donation
originated from our Literacy
Fundraiser held in April 2008
with the cooperation of the
Rotary Club of Philadelphia.
If you’re interested in
attending and assisting the club
to donate books on November 18,
2008 from 11:30-12:30PM, please
contact us by email,
rotaractclubofphiladelphia@gmail.com.
