ANDREW PENDLETON GOVERNOR - 2004 2005
Andrew has been a member of the Rotary Club of Phoenixville since 2001. Before that, he was a charter member of the Rotary Club of Chestnut Hill and served as president of that club during 1998-1999.
 
His District participation includes being chairman of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) committee for the past five years. In addition, he is the Annual Giving Chair for the District Rotary Foundation Committee.
He also is a member of the District Interact Committee and previously served on the District Vocational Service Committee. In January 2001 Andrew was a part of the team from the district that traveled to India for a National Immunization Day.

Andrew is a Paul Harris Fellow. He received the Rotary Foundation District Service Award in 2001-2002.

On a personal note, Andrew and his wife Gretchen (also a Paul Harris Fellow) will be celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary this summer. They have two children, Elizabeth (13) and Gabriel (10). Andrew is the Cubmaster of Pack 231 in Royersford. In the 2000-2001 school year his family hosted a Rotary Youth Exchange Student from Germany (Philipp Goetz). It was a great experience!

Andrew attended Syracuse University after high school, but received his degree from Ursinus College in 1993. After working in the hospitality industry for over 15 years (culminating as general manager of the Chestnut Hill Hotel), he left that business in 2000. He currently works from home as a recruiter. He also designs web pages as a hobby (and perhaps future business).

Andrew enjoys golf, travel, computers, numismatics and collecting lead soldiers.
