    United Nations Day
This year Rotary International UN Day will be held on Saturday, 6 November 2010. Registration will begin at 8:00 am and the program will begin at 9:30 am and last until 4:00 pm. The registration fee is $37.50 for adults, $20.00 for Rotaract and $17.50 for Students. Organizers have again designed a special program for young Rotarians of High School age. The Program will run from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon.
The event will be held in the new temporary building located on the north lawn. The new facility is smaller and can not accommodate as many participants as in the past. Rotarians who want to participate are encouraged to register early as over 500 Rotarians and guests were turned away last year. This unique opportunity will offer a visit to United Nations Headquarters in New York City and participation in panel discussions featuring leaders and officials from the United Nations, United Nations affiliated Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Rotary International.
Lunch is included and will be served in the main United Nations Cafeteria overlooking the East River. Public Parking is available nearby.
To register online, please visit www.RIUNDay.org.
