Malaria is responsible for 10% of all under-five deaths in developing countries.   Rotarians Eliminating Malaria in Tanzania provide insecticide-treated nets.  More than 2000,000 nets have been distributed at a cost of $4.  (Rotarian Magazine - May 2009)

Platoon Partners is an outreach project of the Media and Glen Mills Rotary Clubs designed to provide the United States troops in Iraq with small items including but not limited to toiletries, light entertainment, personal supplies, and communication facilities on a monthly basis for as long as the war in Iraq lasts.
