May 15: Kennett Run: 20th year. This event was started with the efforts of the Kennett Rotary. Let Bronwyn know if you'd like to joint the 5k Kennett Rotary Club walking team; contact Al if you'd like to help on the course, clean up, etc. Click on image for info on the run.

May 19: Once again this year, the Rotary District 7450 Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate Surgery Team will hold a fundraiser at the Media Theater.  The theater has kindly donated tickets to our group so that the full price of every ticket goes toward providing needed surgery to children in need.  In 2010 our district will be sponsoring a team to Viet Nam.

Tickets are $35.00 each and every penny goes to support surgery and change the lives of these kids. Be a program sponsor for only $150.00 (including 3 tickets).

This year's musical is "Rent", a modern version of the opera La Boheme.  The event will be on Wednesday, May 19th at 7:30 PM with a Rotaplast Reception at 6:30 PM for our supporters.  The Theatre is in State Street in Media and is a wonderful venue for a great play.  Nearby are many great restaurants. Why not make a night of it for you and your friends?

"Rent" is set in New York's East Village, it's an emotionally stirring story of a community of young artists struggling to live and celebrate life.  The show's songs range from rock 'n roll to quiet ballads and incorporate dance, pop, salsa, plus rhythm and blues.  It is not recommended for children under fourteen.

Please join Rotary for this great night of musical entertainment as we raise funds for our cleft lip and cleft palate surgery team that will go to change the lives of needy children in Viet Nam.  Please contact Dan Bronson (contact info below) or Peter Skiadas in our Rotary Club (peterskiadas@verizon.net, 610-347-1806) for tickets to this fantastic event.  Remember that due to the generosity of the Media Theater, all proceeds will be used to provide surgery to the children in Viet Nam and fulfill their dreams:
