Rotary Club of Glenside Fundraiser

The Flamingos have arrived.   The flocks have been spotted on numerous lawns in the greater Glenside area, creating much amusement and conversation.   Proceeds from this event benefit Rotary projects such as Keswick Village circle maintenance,   Abington High School Rotary Cross Country Invitational and Rotary Special Athletes.

The public can participate in the migration of the Flamingos by contacting Donna Adelsberger at 215- 576-8690 or Barbara Nye 267-266-7657.  $20.00 to remove the flamingos, from your lawn, an additional $10.00 if you want them to visit someone else and $10 for insurance if you do not want them to come back to visit you.

Rotary Club of Glenside Supports Habitat for Humanity

In September several members of the Rotary Club of Glenside participated in a local Habitat for Humanity program. The homes being built are located in North Hills, Pa and the program was coordinated by a local church in North Hills.  Club members donated their time for 2 Saturdays to help with the building of these 2 new homes.  The local recipients were able to move into their new homes just in time to enjoy the Christmas holidays.
