Delco Fair raises $15,000 for community
. Two-days of rain held attendance to around 4,000 people. Given the short notice and the terrible weather, the Delco Fair went well. There were plenty of volunteers, and, except for roadside visibility, the Franklin Mint site proved ideal. Glen Riddle Rotarian Joe Fletcher (right) and John Messer watch as Sam Messer pulls name of Joanne Starner of Aston as winner of $1,000 prize. Despite two days of rainouts, Delco Fair raised $15,000 to be used for projects sponsored by Glen Riddle and Concordville-Chadds Ford Rotary Clubs.

This photo was taken in the main square of Patzcuaro, Michoacan Mexico. The GSE team of 2006 visited this historic town in the hills of central Mexico. They also learned of the poverty in the surrounding countryside where getting out of the house can sometimes be a problem due to disabilities, disease or other incapacities. The Glen Riddle Club, of which the group leader is a member, championed a project to work with the Club Rotario Patzcuaro 2000 to provide mobility to some of the to towns people.
