Rotary District 7450 Assistant Governor-Elect
Karen Mazzarella is welcomed by President Carl Pinto of the Rotary
Club of King Of Prussia, known as THE KING OF CLUBS, along with
Assistant Governor Rick Trivane for Area 5. Karen is the President
of the Rotary Club of Glen Mills-Thorndale and will move into
the AG position on July 1, 2012. Rick moves on to Area 3 as AG
and is currently the President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Bala
Cynwyd-Narberth.

In early
November, the Glen Mills-Thornbury Rotary club built three benches
along Rocky
Run YMCA's walking trail!! It was a cold but sunny morning!!
The wood was donated by ServePro fire and water restoration services!!
The club funded the cement sides and electric drills and bits
put it all together!! Now many walkers can enjoy a place to take
a rest or just sit and enjoy the day!!
Metal name plates will be installed with Glen Mills Thornbury
Rotary on them!

On August 15, members of
the Glen Riddle and Glen
Mills Rotary clubs, along with the staff
of delcotoday.com and TFSEN (The First Social e-network)
tour the new Garden Center at Linvilla
Orchards in Middletown, Pa. Jim “Sports”
Kelly of ESPN and longtime network sports anchor (center
of photo) was the guest speaker. Mr. Kelly is the narrator
in the audio drama ‘Death on the 16th Fairway’.
D16F is a fundraising effort for several charities including
the Glen Riddle Rotary Club. |

honored to have an unexpected visitor from the UK on July
27th at thier regular meeting. "I
spotted your Rotary road sign along the highway, and thought
I would pay you a visit" said
Colin Jeynes a fellow Rotarian who has been involved in
his Rotary club [Doncaster
England] for many years. |

Gordon Douglas comedian and MC along with Ryan and Friends
nationally known ventriloquist!
He has Performed on cruise ships
and in Las Vegas!
This was a family oriented show!

Our Rotary Club will be planting flowers
to beautify the historic building that houses the museum and offices for
Newlin Grist Mill in Glen Mills. It is a historical and nature area that
welcomes students and families year round. We will also be continuing our
effort by cleaning up trails by picking up trash and fallen branches beyond
this date. Photos and articles will be published in the Governor's Newsletter,
the District Website, and several local newspapers.
