Becoming a new member - the process
There is a set procedure to becoming a new member. Here is the order:
1 A member seeks out a potential member and brings their name before the Membership Committee.
2 The Classification Committee determines there is open classification
3 The name must be approved by the Board of Directors.
4 The name is published before the general membership for approval.
5 If approved, that person becomes a member after paying dues and initiation fees.
It is possible to a potential member to seek someone in the club and ask to be a member, but that person must realize that they must be qualified as a business owner, manager, or professional, and then the classification committee must approve an open classification, the board must approve the application, and the club membership then would have to approve the member.
