Rotary Make-Up
Rotary Club of Exton-Frazer
As a Rotarian, you can makeup a missed meeting at any Rotary Club in the World. In fact, you do not have to miss a meeting to visit another club.
All Rotary Clubs accept "visiting Rotarians". Signs are usually posted along major highways indicating the presence of a Rotary Club and showing the meeting time and place. In addition, there is a book available for purchase indicating all clubs throughout the work. You can also find club meeting times and places from the Internet.
Simply show up at the meeting place at the appropriate time and indicate to the Sgt at Arms or other designated person that you are a visiting Rotarian. Payment of the meal cost is necessary. They will ask you your name, club, and classification. You should get a "makeup card" to present to your club to verify your attendance. In the event the card is lost or mis-placed, simply tell your club secretary and you will get credit for attendance.
Visiting another club can be very interesting. First, you get another "flavor". You will meet new people and make friends. If you are visiting another country, your visit can be very rewarding. Doors can open to quickly learning more about where you are and even help if you need it. Rotary is a world-wide fellowship.
