Attendance is important to a Rotarian. Most members join for fellowship as well as networking and service. You don't get fellowship by not attending. You also miss out on good programs. You also can not support your club when you are not there.

Rotary International has set attendance rules which should be followed. You must attend 60 percent of the meetings in a year. You must not miss more than 3 in a row. 30 percent must be attended in your home club. You are given the opportunity to attend other clubs to "make up" a missed meeting.
