Community Service - Goals
  1. Conduct a project which promotes reading to young children.
  2. Ask members to volunteer to reed to children at a local elementary school or library or participate in a project which encourages new parents to reed to their children.
  3. Sponsor or participate in a local program of immunization or disease prevention for children.
  4. Sponsor or participate in a project that addresses the problems of child abuse, street children, end/or domestic violence in your community.
  5. Undertake a project which teaches disadvantaged new parents or single parents childcare and parenting skills.
  6. Organize an Interact or Rotaract club. If you already sponsor one, invite its members to become a partner with your club in a hands-on project.
  7. Sponsor a drug abuse prevention project targeted toward the youth in your community.
  8. Undertake an activity to celebrate Family Week (the second week of February).
  9. Sponsor or participate in a project designed to promote urban peace and conflict resolution.
  10. Sponsor a Rotary Youth leadership Awards (RYIA) event.
  11. Conduct a Preserve Planet Earth proiect that meets the needs in your community and involves local young children.
  12. Organize an inter generational event during the year, including grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren.
  13. Sponsor or participate in a project which addresses the issue of hunger and malnutrition of children in your commvntty.
