About our Club

  • The Rotary Club of Coatesville is an active and involved club that would rather roll up its shirt sleeves than write a check. That said, Coatesville Rotary still contributes over $30,000 annually to local community service groups. 
  • Known locally as the traveling hamburger/hot dog show, Coatesville Rotary fund raising activities include the Strawberry Festival Benefiting the Brandywine Health & Wellness Foundation and Rotary, and a Club Auction 
  • Known for good humor and fellowship, this club knows how to laugh and have a good time! 
  • If you are a business owner, manager or professional and live or work in the Coatesville, Thorndale or Downingtown area check us out! 

Major Service Projects:

  • Sponsor an INTERACT CLUB within the Coatesville Area Senior High School 
  • Sponsor a FOUR-WAY TEST SPEECH CONTEST within the Coatesville Area Senior High School 
  • Sponsor the STRIVE program in the Coatesville Area Senior High School for students with a 2.0 or below GPA 
  • STUDENT VISITATION PROGRAM where we invite students within the Coatesville Intermediate High School and the Coatesville Area Senior High School to visit with us at a meeting 
  • ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY project along business route 30 in Thorndale 
  • Sponsored a FILIPINO WATER BUFFALO PROJECT

Scholarship Program:

  • Coatesville Rotary Scholarship: $4,500 based on academic standing, community service and need 
  • STRIVE Scholarship: $1,500 to the Coatesville Rotary STRIVE student showing the most improvement in school performance 
  • World of Work Scholarship: $500 to a vocational/technical student based on academics and need 
  • INTERACT  Scholarship: $1000 to a participating member of the Coatesville INTERACT Club based on academics and community service
