The Rotary Club of Central Chester County, Lionville received its Charter from Rotary International on May 9, 1988. There were 27 original members of the club, and those members celebrated a "Charter Night" in June, 1988, at which time the formal presentation of the Charter was made by District Governor McCarthy.
