Directions to Drexelbrook:

Exit 3 of route I-476 following signs, SPRINGFIELD / ROUTE 1 NORTH. Next follow Route 1 North to the Township Line / State Road intersection. At fork in the road (Sunoco Gas station is the middle of the fork) bear right onto State Road (DrexellineShopping Center will be on your right). Travel north on State Road past shopping center (4/10 of a mile) to Wildell Road. The Wildell Street sign is behind the flashing yellow lights. The Drexelbrook sign is on your left. Turn right on Wildell and travel 1 block, turn left at stop sign. Almost immediately there is another stop sign. Turn right and go over trolley tracks. At the stop sign in front of the small shopping center, turn left. When you do, you will see Drexelbrook at the bottom of the hill on the right.

Upper Darby - Lansdowne Rotary Club recently held their annual social at the Cynwyd Club. The evening had an Oldies theme with dance instruction and a Frank Sinatra impersonator. At the event, Phyllis Sockwell was honored as the club's Rotarian of the Year . A great time was had by all!
The Rotary Club of Upper Darby – Lansdowne recently donated 30 new winter coats for local school children in need of coats as the cold weather season begins. Pictured above with two of the donated coats are (left to right): Rotary District Assistant Governor and club Rotarian Rich Heron, Stonehurst Elementary School Principal Linda Sember and Upper Darby School District Social Worker Margherita Christoforidis.

The Rotary Club of Upper Darby – Lansdowne recently honored Daniel Donegan as their Officer of the Year from the Lansdowne Police Force. Dan started on the force in 1997, advanced to sergeant, and in 2003, became a criminal investigator. He helped pioneer Lansdowne's bicycle patrol during his early days on the force.

As volunteers, Rotarians are involved in local and international activities to build goodwill and peace, provide humanitarian service, and encourage high ethical standards in all vocations. There are 1.2 million Rotarians in more than 32,000 clubs in 200 countries and geographical areas.
